Welcome to Space Hazard!

You are Wolf McStar, best pilot of the Interplanetary Space Escort Corporation, whose job is to protect civilian ships when travelling through space against multiple hazards. After a tragic battle against the terrible pirates of the Black Cloud Gang, you lost your ship and took one from the pirates to continue your mission. Unfortunately, this ship is based on a really old technology as it can only do one action at a time: shoot, go up or go down. You have to choose that action first and then use it.

The Corporation has sent reinforcements who should arrive at any moment now, but be cautious, you're in an area full of asteroids!

How to play:

  • You are the red ship and your job is to protect blue civil ships from asteroids.
  • Asteroids will come from the right side of the screen and will move in a straight line toward civil ships. Over time, the interval between two asteroids will be reduced and their speed will increase.
  • Your bosses told you that up to two civil ships destroyed is an acceptable lost. But be aware that when a third ship will be destroyed, your mission will be failed.
  • Try to stay alive as long as possible, until reinforcements come !

Controls:

Even if this is a Web-based game, it is also possible to play it on Mobile (landscape only).

Choose current actionMouse Left Click / Touch (both on right side of the screen)
Use current actionSpace / Touch (on left side of the screen)

okay, i like how to controls are easy to undestand, but hard to master, maybe adding a shooting switch in front of both two movement switchs would create a easier experience, and i think it could be more enjoyable, but, pretty cool game, music sounds good, gameplay is nice

Good feedback, thanks!

I found I loved it once I fell in the flow of knowing if I had to one or two tap to get to the correct mode fast enough. It's great when games with simple base mechanics get you in that flow state, really speaks to their design imo. I felt that the hitbox on the asteroids could be a bit bigger to account for a lot of extra game feel, but besides that I had a really good time!

Thanks Luka!

The controls on mobile devices are not good.

I couldn't move the spaceship where i wanted. Though the idea is good.

Agree, it has been built for Desktop first but I realized at the end of dev that adding support for mobile inputs was quick to do. But you're right, it hasn't been built with mobile in mind so it may not work with all devices (it does with mine). Glad you liked the idea!

sick! good idea, good gameplay, really good art, nice sounds, overall really enjoyable! Really impressive for 3 hours.

Thanks a lot!
